Warranty Information

At Yosemite Bum Resoles, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. Please review the following information before sending in your shoes or applying for a warranty:

Warranty Coverage: Our work is warrantied for 3 months from the date you received your resole order. The customer is responsible for reporting any issues with their resole order, i.e., unusual wear or delamination, within this 3-month period. We recommend inspecting and testing all orders upon arrival. Inconsistencies will be repaired at no charge during the warranty period.

Exclusions: The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Excessive wear on or near the toe rand due to toe-dragging or other improper use.

  • Damage due to misuse, improper care, or poor maintenance.

  • Cracking or delaminating rubber due to improper storage, care, or use.

  • Resoled shoes from another resole business.

Yosemite Bum Resoles is not responsible for lost packages. Claims must be filed with the shipping carrier. However, we are happy to provide you with any information needed to file your claim.

Shoe Longevity: Resoles do not have a predictable lifespan. Shoes naturally wear over time based on various factors depending on the climber’s experience, style, climbing frequency, type of climbing, climber’s weight and the type of surface being climbed.

  • Your name and contact information.

  • A detailed description and photos of resole quality discrepancies, including multiple angles to showcase the resole and close-ups of any issues if relevant.

  • Include the Submission ID and Invoice Number of the resole.
